EC SoDak | I broke down and changed tillage practices due to this dry pattern, so I suppose maybe it’ll start raining next year. Lol.
For years I whishek disked the corn stalks and chisel in fertilizer on the bean ground. Last fall I VT’d in the fertilizer and then half the beans were notilled and the other half VT’d. This fall everything was VT’d. This past spring I cultivated manured ground and some spots here and there, but most wasn’t worked. The hope is to do the same next spring. | |
