They make drive-over conveyors that are portable with flop down ramps on each side. Do you need more pit volume for some buffer or would these work?

Another thought is more semi-permanent, not sure if it needs to be mobile but how about making a drive-over bridge? Use the big concrete lego blocks on each side of the 'pit' to dam up a dirt/rock birm ramp and cover the bridge gap over the pit with some grating. You can just slide in a conveyor under the bridge and have some sheetmetal sides attached to the concrete blocks for a hopper that hovers over the conveyor.
