West Central MN (between MMF and Larson's)
We got 7-10” over about a 3 week period in early fall. Some of the crop was already shot by that time.

We got a half inch of rain last Friday that rewet the top.

Overall feeling better than last year at this time. We have enough in the profile to get started but certainly not enough to get to June 20th.

As has been said, now is the best time for a drought.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are supposed to be wet here according to the weather folks. I’d just as soon get the moisture after planting since dry springs are usually better here in the clay. But we should have room.

Tile crew guys have said it’s generally been good working conditions other than 2 fields. One of those was ours. it was blessed with more rain last summer, chopped to be ready for tilling crew then got the 10” of rain before the crew showed up.
