IA		22 was a phenomenal year for me, 23 has not been as good, but far from bad. I sold a bunch of freezer beef to new customers, and sold a half a pot load of fats directly to the packer, which was a first for me. These were all home raised calves, so it was a learning experience to feed them out. The corn and beans beans did a little less then average but not a disaster. The hay crop was short without rain but should be just fine. In February I decided make the jump to farming full time as I added some custom acres, and wasn't going to be able to get it all done still working in town. My family is doing great, very blessed here. Biggest addition was I was able to purchase a retiring neighbors low houred 8200 JD which I've had my eye on for the last 10 years.
