| At least the standards for particulates and CO don’t cost as much to meet and the solutions tend to improve fuel economy. Meeting the standard for NOX is a different story, it drives most of the cost, reduces fuel economy and reduces reliability. What harmful effect does NOX produce? I think it only reduces smog. Almost all ag equipment operates where smog is not an issue. The stringent NOX standard for Ag equipment is an incredible waste of money and fuel. | |
