Sturgeon MO | Yes they will fit under low augers easier than a plastic hoppers. We cut a piece of plywood to put over the hopper to keep water out, works good unless the hopper sits in a hole full of water. Also found using a leaf blower works well to get most of the grain cleaned out of the hopper so you don't have a bunch of rotten grain if it does get wet. They do add alot of weight. The little wheel on the jack works just ok if everything is perfectly flat, but we just usually move ours around with the loader tractor. | |
