The particulates came from your exhaust, it's your responsibility to clean them up, just as you don't like paying to pick up other people's litter. My bike might use 100 litres of fuel this year, it has to meet emissions laws every March when it gets tested. I put 4 or 500 litres of fuel in the combine every day.

If the combine is causing such a burdensome amount of pollution, maybe just have everyone that wants to eat some grain come harvest it themselves. Then they can be responsible for their own pollution rather than attributing it to a few farmers.

Oh but it’s simpler to vote the responsibility onto someone else.

Do you think that farmers should be exempt from emissions laws, and does this extend to all laws?

Or do you think the emissions from tbe machines you and other farmers use don't count?

If you aren't prepared to pay to clean up your air pollution, who do you think should pay?

Nobody is prepared to clean up their pollution, and certainly nobody wants to pay. That’s why they vote the responsibility onto someone else, and why majority rule is tyranny.
