Cattle have made very good money this yr. Row crop was yr from hell, irrigated from 2 days after planting till mid September and yields still weren't there. Getting biggest crop insurance check of my career. Chopped 100% of our dryland acres and then some irrigated on top. Screwed up on marketing so that makes me look stupid on corn. This fall has been very trying on new cattle, too dry too much dust then up and down temps now lots of sickness, haven't lost many which is biggest thing.

My 14 yr old daughter moved back with me full time. Boy is begging too, when old enough to choose he will too. That has been a blessing. So family is doing well. Everyone has stayed healthy.

So overall can't complain for the yr. The good things outweighs the bad.
