Yes have tried several different cover crops that worked really well in corn, but my challenge is getting it planted in the fall soon enough to get it going. Hasn't worked out to get that done the last number of years, cereal rye is so easy, I just spread it with a fert. spreader I bought and doing nothing else. Its fast, simple, not wearing out anything, have a retired guy start helping me this fall with spreading and we got everything covered for the first time, so at this point that's what I'm doing.
