| Sandblasting sheet metal has to be done with a 45* to 75* angle to the metal . If you blast both sides blast in the same direction . Never blast one side right to left and the other up and down. Keep moving ,don't stop at one spot for more than a millisecond. Thinner metal requires that you use less air pressure or stand back more than you would on heavy steel.
Epoxy primer is a very good choice . Work it into any folds or overlaps. When the project is "done" go one more step and coat the under side with woolwax . | |
