Thanks for posting. My corn no-tilled following oats usually looks pretty tough for the first month or so. I really thought I had screwed it up this year as I planted without row cleaners this year. It's interesting yours looked tough with have fertilizer down with the planter. I wonder if its just the covers breaking down or what, but usually by late June ours looks better and by late July its some of the best looking corn around. Our corn no-tilled into heavy cover was our best again this year. We are trying an experiment of having cattle graze and eat the cover down to see if that helps the corn look better early? How are you killing the rye? 24 oz of gly here.
