| I believe it would only be fuel used while recording on that field. We unload on the go most the time, and the combine rarely waits in the field, so not a lot of 'non recording' fuel used, other than warm up and cool down, and road time.
I've seen several guys on here talk about their op center data and how much fuel used, I assumed all their bushels/gallon, etc was just from the field recording. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
Edit to add- I see you are the one above who mentioned 2.5 gal per acre. I assume that includes all fuel? Not sure how we would compare. Rough figuring, we'd maybe be at 1.5-1.7 if figuring it all? This is all flat open fields. I believe small fields and hills could really change the total fuel used.
We didn't meter the fuel into our combine, so really have no idea how much total fuel we used for road time, idle, etc. It would be an interesting metric though.
Our in-field gph is typically 14-17, depending how hard it's pulling.
