Floyd County, Iowa | I was hauling ddgs somewhere around Applington, Iowa (either north or south, on the blacktop), on the west side of the blacktop road, and saw some camels in a pasture right beside the road.
Almost went in the ditch gawking at them, making sure I saw what I saw. I had seen other non-native livestock there on previous trips by there, deer & elk, IIRC.
A couple years ago I was talking to a lady in Bemidji, MN and she was from around Applington, and asked her about the place. She knew of it and the guy that owns it.
Is that the guy?
