These pictures don’t nearly show the whole scope of the job, but basically stripping clay down to the rock cap for a quarry. Material hauled away was initially used to build a new ramp down into the active pit and the old ramp has already been blasted and crushed since. Bulk of the material is being used to create more pad/gravel storage space up at ground level.
