| If you have a passport go to Waterton on the Canadian side, we were there a few years ago and enjoyed the Canadian side, less traffic and we saw several bears,elk and wild sheep. There is also a neat old English Inn with a great view of a glacier and lake. Coming from flat country I did notice that the entire west is 80 to 90 percent uphill. We stayed on the east side of the park and drove west on the Going-to-the-Sun Road, left early in the morning, and there was not much traffic going in, and that was in July.I think most traffic arrives from the west, but you have more lodging on the west side. | |
