Franklinton, LA | A few years back my wife and I had a very enjoyable visit to the park. We stayed at a very nice Bed and Breakfast a few miles south of Columbia Falls. The Bed and Breakfast owners gave us a lot of good advice on current park conditions, places to visit and places to eat. We also enjoyed visiting Whitefish, MT which is a few miles from Columbia Falls.
The Red Busses are an over-priced joke! The buses have 4 bench seats with 4 passengers per seat. I am 5' 8" tall and the seats are too close together and too narrow for 4 people. The passengers in next to the window can see scenery on one side of the bus. The 8 passengers in the center have a good view of the shoulder of the adjacent passenger.
Yes, I would enjoy going back to the park. The view as you drive toward the park from the East is fantastic! | |
