I was there last summer, stayed on site at Lake McDonald. It’s busy on the road to the sun from before sunrise until afternoon, need to buy a pass between 6am-3pm for that road. I enjoyed a quieter pace toward evening. Kayak’s and photography probably more popular than walking in that park.
