Should be fine. Fed Gov is great at managing herds of animals. I imagine the American Prairie Reserve will be happy to run them on state land here in MT alongside the buttalos. Probably bring in a mint for hunting them, so won't cost taxpayers a thing. Do people really need to live in eastern MT/western ND anyways?*
