Those are a very common parts system that other companies like Larson sell their assortments in. They are great for assortments, they would be lousy toolbox, way too small, as said not weatherproof and really no way to keep drawers from sliding out. Like other posters have said the Extreme or Snap on type Road box or Montizuma non drawer type boxes are designed to take the road jars and shakes. When I was younger I had a very well built Mac top Chest that I used as a road box, ( from the the late 70’s so not the lighter ones of today) and the frame started to buckle on the bottom after a year or so. The road type chests have additional frame in them that supports the weight of top drawers to bottom so they stand up for road use. Various mfg sell them.
