| So I was thinking about semiconductors the other day. Really I do it a lot I guess. I associate semiconductor technology with gaming graphics cards really. It’s how I first learned of nvidia and Amd way before I was in to the stock market. Anyways graphics cards turns out are the bottle neck in most computing I think. Crypto currency mining exploded when people realized they could use old graphics cards, then new ones, to do it. But crypto mining I don’t really understand. I do understand tho that the better the graphics card, the quicker the mining or better the game looks. And although games are looking pretty real now a days, they still have a near infnite amount of improvement that can be made in just making things look more realistic. Not to mention it’s really difficult for graphics cards to even accurately generate artificial light. They call it ray tracing, it’s in early stages still and produces a large strain on the system. And then when you add to this that it requires even more powerful and sophiscated cards to create a 3d meta verse and i guess I feel like this certainly isn’t peak of that technology and it’s capabilities. Oh and you need them for AI stufff
Also earnings report have been good
And here’s some more lines for avgo
