Electric tarp on semi, is there a backup plan? Has ANYONE regretting doing it?

I agree. They always say the "backup plan" is simple but when my Thunder tarp controller quit, it took an hour to get it so I could open manually. I even had wrenches in the cab to take out the bolt but of course it was seized in there good. And a LOT of pressure on it. Then the crank handle didn't want to go on very well. Finally, there is quite a bit of tension on that thing so its certainly more difficult than normal. Perhaps the other brands are easier.
