I think it really matters what you want to spend. New ones are fantastic, but serious money. Another issue on old big field cultivators is fact a lot of frames are just wore out as are shanks. Something decent will be 25000-125000.

I was looking over a consignment auction older tillage. Much has significant side to side play. The cost for new bolts, bushings. Are not cheap. Odds are 40% bolts will break taking apart. *unless you use heat*. Yep I have bought a few sub grand tillage pieces.
