Electric tarp on semi, is there a backup plan? Has ANYONE regretting doing it?

Chebanse, IL.....

We've had 3 hopper trailers with Shurco tarps for probably 10-12 yrs. Never had one not open/close. Same with Shurco electric traps.

If you go to an elevator to dump & tarp is inop, you can always dump with tarp on. Grab a sample while unloading. Fix it when you get back home. Alert the probe folks so they don't inadvertently punch your tarp if they're daydreaming or something.

I'm guessing that if I hauled 300 days per yr I might have a spare motor in stock.
