Still in the market for a newer sprayer. Moving up from a 2016 R4030 Deere. I’ve been looking at newer R4038, R4044, R4045 on the Deere side, and RG1100C/1300C on the Rogator side. I can tell the Rogator isn’t as “fancy” as the Deeres, but are they good machines? Do they last without many issues? Do they ride well and handle well? Basically, am I wasting my time looking at them. Any help would be awesome
If you are looking at JD make sure the sprayer has command drive because it cuts the noise and fuel consumption down tremendously. I get an additional 400 acres sprayed per fuel load at 5 gpa work with our 616R vs our R4045 that doesn’t have command drive. And recirculating booms is an option on JD and I think can be even retro fitted to older machines without it. It’s not an “exclusive” option to Rogator.
