Subject: RE: CAT track tractors.

Nw Iowa
We have both, Cat 865B, JD9530T and a 9570Rt. Comfort and controls go hands down to the Deeres, actually prefer to drive the 9530 over any of them. Ride is about same on all. Cat wins for durability and lugging. Cat is alittle harder on fuel. Not as much power difference between the three as you would think. All pull a 55’ cultivator, 9570 definitely most power and doesn’t use as much fuel. Cats transmission is massive. If you are in to a lot of technology, JD is definitely best. That all said, if I can find another low hr Cat B or C series, that is what I would buy. I believe there are some transmission updates on the C but have had more hyd problems. As said do the service on reaction arms on the Cat.
