| I went from a 2016 ram 4500 with a 6.7 to new F450 gas. Ram pulled better when down and dirty but most of the time the 7.3 is very adequate. I’m taking 25-30k behind you. Gas needs to rev over 3500 so quite different than a 6.7. Long hard pulls up a hill is the only time I would wish to have the 6.7 back. Mileage was 10.8 empty on the 6.7 and maybe 9 under similar load. Gas is 12.5 with a similar bed but 4 door. Loaded the gas is 7.2-7.8 delivering seed loaded. 8.5 running around delivering culverts that are no where near loading the truck. | |
