NE KS | Dad wants to buy a new f350 regular cab 7.3 gas. They are $10,000 cheaper than a diesel. We haven't had gas pickups on the farm since the late 90s. Is this a wise decision? What will they get for mileage? It seems as though re-sale is always really strong on diesels, and they get quite a lot better mileage. Is re-sale worth a darn on a gas f350? And, in the long run, considering diesel is around $.80 higher than gas, would a diesel still be a better investment, considering all things? Thanks BS | |
