Richardson county Nebraska
This! We run a 700 supreme twin screw, first year bales 5x6 out of jd 535, then got a 604pro Vermeer with knives, do wet silage wrapped hay and dry brome, I wouldn’t get smaller than 700 and definitely twin screw, typical ration for me has 3 bales, silage Sudan, silage forage wheat and brome, this is 4500-5000#. Another option is a bale slicer, it will help with process times.
