SW Illinois | we are on our 2nd 8k machine with 40ft boom. Rarely do we need the full weight capacity, but there have been days when we maxed it out. For us its a good size. small enough to get around and big enough to do most of what we need. If we run out of reach it means we need an actual crane.
If doing loader work you will want an ag spec. but they don't seem to have the same reach as a construction spec. | |
