West Central Wisconsin | I really enjoy seeing kids interested in hunting. It gives me hope that the sport will continue! Whether they harvest an animal or not you're including them into a tradition that goes back generations and they will never forget! Both of my daughters hunt and I know their children will be exposed to hunting as they grow. Probably my most memorable hunt is when my wife and I took our then 13 and 15 year old girls out to hunt elk in Colorado . Three youth tags were the only tags bought. It was a successful hunt with a cow and a bull taken but the main thing is we all worked together getting the meat back to camp despite all of us suffering from altitude sickness and trying to beat the next snowstorm coming. Great memories were made in those few days! | |
