Western Ontario | We started with a single screw Jaylor that was 400 cubic feet. We feed a lot of 4x5 wrapped haylage bales and it was forever throwing hay out. Went to a double screw Penta, better but just soso overall on the mixer(600 cubic feet). Next one will be a 500 cubic foot twin screw Supreme, they have much higher sides (probably can’t load with a skid steer) that seems to do a better job of forcing long hay down and getting it processed quicker. I hear good things about the Cloverdales too. | |
