I have been using a kansun dryer dumping into a 10000 bu bin to finish cooling till we haul it to a silo or to the mill. 90k bu a year. I can haul and dry at the same time. Just bought a Gsi 1112 to replace my very old dryer. The corn will be coming out of the dryer at 112 degrees what moister does it need to be? I run the fan on the cooling bin all the time the bin used to be a drying bin so the fan is pretty good size. How long does it take to cool the corn down. I have a 3000 bu wet bin so the dryer should be shut off by 3am just trying to figure out how to haul the corn out with it dry and not hot I am assuming I will have to haul the corn out before starting the dryer again |
