Inflation and economics—

A farmer is an optimist— he/she will out produce — always. The key to watch is demand.

BUT— at some point, we get rid of enough poor business operations and then low prices cure low prices

As for “it all gets planted every year”? That’s a crock— a good share of southern Iowa and northern Missouri crop land, not in the CRP, was still not being planted and overgrown with all kinds of small trees in the mid 90’s. I know, I bought a couple, cleaned them up and flipped them.

Moral— at some point you need to look at COP (goes higher due to COL every year, then throw the charts away
