If you ever plan to have it in Parades and such, install a belt driven Hydostatic axle assembly from a riding lawn mower. Infinite variable speed, Foward and Reverse and dynamic braking all in one. Trying to regulate speed and stop n go gets old in a hurry with any thing with a centrifugal drive.
