| Not a bad truck. If the checkbook can handle it I probably would try to go up to a 15.
That should get you a better turbo and away from the valve issue, although if it was going to drop a valve I would assume it would have already.
Ford gets a bad rap on the fuel system but no one tells you all 3 companies used them at on time or another. (I know ram has switched up in the last couple years, I don’t keep up with Chevy.)
They have since pinned the rollers on the cp4 pump and also added a hardened layer on the pistons.
There are also aftermarket fuel pumps that have separate compartments that will not trash the system in the event of a failure. | |
