SE ND
I bought a forward lift 15k 2 post lift. Wanted to oversize it because of service pickups.

I originally wanted a 4 post due to my FIL having both in his shop. A 4 post is super safe and easy. Very nice to work under. They are more expensive and take up more room. The room factor is why I went 2 post.

I am glad I oversized it. The 15k seems massive, and when I had my service truck up on it I wouldnt want any less. I love the small footprint it takes up in my shop and the flexibility it gives me to lift all kinds of stuff. I don't like figuring out the first time how to lift a vehicle, however once you figure out which spacers to use and where to put the lift pads it's easy.

Overall I'm happy with my choice. If my shop was laid out different I'd have stuck with a 4 post (open front) for safety and convenience.
