We always had steel goosenecks. My last was a Gooseneck brand 28ft. Good solid trailer but was heavy on my pickup’s soooo i splurged and bought a 24’ Wilson ranchhand punched at the top, solid on bottom. Have owned it 3 years now and would absolutely do it again. Empty, it’s like pulling nothing with my 3/4 ton
