They do.

The difference is a bit in width.

You'd have to research, but I think the No Till 2500 shanks are something around 1" and the Minimum Till ones are closer to 2". It's a bit of difference, but not monumental.

The No Till shanks on the 2500 have NO side wear plates on the shank. There is also NO shin above the tooth by itself for wear, rather the tooth has a riser on it that protects the shank. When that part of the tooth wears out, the shank wears.

The backs of the shanks will wear regardless. While not super expensive, they WILL wear out eventually. Last time I checked, they were just about $110 for the shank. Then add for the tooth.

Minimum disturbance shanks will have a tooth, a shin in front of that to protect the front of the shank and also bolt on (?) wear plates for the side of the shanks. They ARE different part numbers and thickness from the No Till shanks.

We had an Unverferth with shanks, much like the Minimum Disturbance CNH shanks and they wore well. The tooth wore out 2-3x as much as the side wear plates and the shins were (are) reversible upside down.

After the Unverferth, we now have a CNH 2500 with No Till shanks. I stated the differences above and are not happy. We figure I'll either have to weld on the shanks or replace them by the time we wear the second set of teeth wear out.

We are now looking to back to an Unverferth. When we had one the first time, we liked how the shank trips in principal, but there are grease fittings that need to be lubed, FAR more than the spring point 2500's. We used it for strip till, and I do remember pulling the mounting U bolts off a few shanks the few years we had it.

The 2500 for us we wouldn't be thinking of trading IF it had the Minimum Till shanks instead of the No Till shanks it came with. You can't JUST buy different shanks (Of course!!), the shank widths are different. As it stands, we are thinking of trading and while overall ARE happy with the 2500, we wish it had come with the minimum shanks.
