I was wondering if people who have installed them have seen the claim of more efficiency mixed flow cost approximately 160000 and cross flow 80000 both will do 5 point removal of 1000 bu per hour but mixed flow supposed to use half the fuel and half the electricity

I would want to talk to someone that runs one and get some hard energy numbers. I love the design on a mixed flow dryer and probably will have one some day, but we did an energy audit on our 25 year old GSI dryer and there was less than a half a penny per point moisture removal difference between it and a new mixed flow from NECO. Natural gas and 3 phase electric.

To be fair we are looking at twice the capacity of our current dryer but not sure how or why that would make much difference.
