Ontario
I would get your local feed store to test it if you're worried about feeding it, they can tell you what's in it and offer some advice on feeding it. Once it's exposed to air it'll start to mold, I've been doing we oat bales in a tube the last couple years and that's my experience with it at least (I'm still pretty new to it too). Always gets some white mold on the outside and just inside the bale that the cows don't seem to mind but i usually don't feed anyways since hay is cheaper to replace than cattle made sick by ****ty feed. I've had guys tell me it's just yeast and its fine and others tell me feeding too much of it can cause a cow to lose its calf. I don't know which one is right and i don't really want to find out myself lol.

Don't mean to sound super doom and gloom about it though, it will be higher quality feed than any dry hay the cows will love it.

As long as you feed it promptly you should be fine, it'll spoil faster the warmer it is out and being we're getting into the colder months you should have some leeway. If possible id just buy and pick up a couple at a time then you don't have to worry about it.
