N.E. MO | Our 13 shank has been over many thousands of acres and never broken a shank. Biggest issue we’ve had is keeping the leveling disk assemblies on the machine. Think I lost (and found) 7 of them when I was running it last fall over 6,000 acres. Had many of the same disk gang repairs discussed here, but would say that’s pretty much normal west and tear, not anything faulty or poorly designed.
Other than the leveler issues and rolling baskets plugging in gumbo, we really like the ripper. She likes power! | |
