North Liberty and South Bend, Indiana
9070 is a wide body. So 22" rotors and wider cleaning area. It has been said that the 17" rotors are better for small grains due to laws of physics too long to type out. But that is probably theoretical. One other big pluss to a CR over a Case-IH is the concaves. Red machines they are always talking about which module to put in what spot for different crops. CR's you either run round bar for corn and soybeans or small grains concaves. I do install custom made cover plates on my round bar in barley so I didn't have to buy and swap out and I run them in soybeans too. Was a recommendation from Marion Calmer. Helps in tough beans and probably unnecessary in dry beans but it only takes about 10 mins to install or remove so I run them always.
