That’s my next plan is to either replace the harness or check for broken wires. I did run new wires from lc1 controller to the sensor and that didn’t help. Maybe pins in connector to lc1 controller?
I purchased a used 9770 a few years back. I had intermittent problems/codes dealing the Air Conditioning. Not that I need cooling much where I live but it messed up the circulating Fan etc. A local tech was out several times and checked for various things such as corrosion, bad connections etc.
Since the problem was intermittent, it was difficult to trace down. One day he came out and put the small Command Arm screen into a diagnostic screen and had me sit in the cab and watch it. He went around the combine and wiggled and twisted on various wiring harnesses. At one point, I noticed a change in a value on the screen and hollered out to him. By twisting the wiring harness leading from the controllers to the engine area he was able to create this change.
The location was in a wiring harness that consisted of several wires that were inside a loom made of webbing. He carefully cut the loom open with a knife which exposed the wires. It was then obvious that two of the wires had become bare and could touch occasionally. It appeared to us that when the combine was painted that paint had passed through the webbing and dried to a sharp point inside against the wires. Through time and vibration, the paint had worn the wires bare causing them to short together at times. He was able to splice in some new wire which solved my problem.
Possibly something like this may be your problem. With mine there was no obvious external damage or signs of wear on the wiring. The wire didn't make any sharp bends and was securely tied in place.
