Having had a TR and now a CR I can say your bridging/plugging concern is a non issue with the CR. The entire machine is years and years ahead in every aspect over a TR. Do not demo one unless you're ready to trade.

I would imagine it is improved. However, I have talked with a CR owner who said it still was possible to plug. He had plugged the discharge on his machine in very green canola.

Which style of discharge does your machine have? Most of the used machines in Western Canada have the draper belt feeder for the chopper.

I've heard of quite a few plugging in green canola with the PSD (positive straw discharge) belt. I've never bridged or plugged ours, but I also don't have the PSD either.
