North Liberty and South Bend, Indiana | No reverser but I will say I only ever plugged the rotors once and that was when I had the gearbox in high range from cutting barley. The sheaves were slowed down all the way and I tried cutting through a nasty green spot of grass cutting soybeans. Big wad went in. Pretty sure belt slipped and choked rotors. 99.9% sure if it were in low range the engine would have sang for a second or two but rammed that wad out. So essentially no need for a fancy reverse. But wheat country may be a different animal where you're dealing with tough green wheat stems. |
