Southeast Colorado | Our State mandated student contact/teaching time. That didn't change when we went from 5 to 4 day weeks. The teachers really like it because it gives them that 5th day to do paperwork. We were competing with city schools for staff. Not really other rural schools. So it seemed like the 4 day week was the best draw for new teachers coming out of college, in lieu of money.
