Southern MN | I had a brand new ford explorer that I got 22,000 miles out of the first set and they were shot. Ford wouldn’t do anything about it because I didn’t have documented rotation every 4,000 miles (they were rotated at 6,000, 12,000 and 18,000 miles). They were Pirelli tires so not a cheap brand. The only thing we came up with is they are more of a performance tire so softer rubber, and we drive a lot of gravel roads. The dealership sold me a new set of Firestone’s for half price to try to make it right. | |
