I'd budget for, and plan on getting a grain cart also. They are really a must have in corn if you have a shorter harvest window and want to keep the show moving along. They're not much money and pay for themselves by being more efficient in keeping the combine moving. You'll get more done with an 8 row head (that will match up to your planter too btw) than you will with a bigger head having to stop and unload.


Have a 1000bu cart already, just don't really have anybody to run it. It generally gets used just as in field storage a lot of time, but is nice to have moving in field when we can.
