| We don’t have staff in the building. All the class rooms have individual units so there will just be a few teachers around and an admin maybe on those days.
No bus route.
No school lunch. We’re low income so the gov pays for lunches, but we’re always negative anyway on that.
Reduced wear and tear.
And yes our hourly support staff work a few less hours. No one is working at the school who wants to work a bunch of hours. We go longer days so they pickup some time there. It’s not much. But we’re on year two and I haven’t heard a complaint on that and I would have if it was a thing. My wife is a teacher and I’m on the board so I get to hear all the drama! | |
