If he hauled it as a favor, probably on your own for replacing the door.
For the record, I strap the doors on custom hire hauls. I also check the hood, roof cap, and rear window. Seen a few broken while hauled over the years. I don't want to buy any, so it's easy to throw a strap.
As far as exhaust, I never cover my own, but I will on most custom hauls just to avoid the whole turbo argument.
